We would like to thank our newest sponsor, Microchip, for donating various integrated circuits (ICs) and programmers to CalSol.
Our Datalogger board depends on multiple ICs from Microchip to easily store stable data for later analysis. In addition, our Maximum Power Point Trackers (MPPTs) and Datalogger board on Impulse, have chips programmed using Microchip’s programmers.
Finally, Microchip has kindly donated an Android Development Kit (ADK) to develop an (awesome) Android interface, which will be implemented after the World Solar Challenge, for Impulse. Who knows, maybe you’ll be able to track Impulse with your phone!
